  • Have just had a stroke
    Are able to give informed consent

  • It may not be safe to participate if you...

    Have implanted medical devices
    Are claustrophobic
    Are nursing/pregnant

When do I start?

Participation starts within the first 21 days after stroke

How long will I be followed?
  • Critical Care
  • Stroke Center
  • Discharge

You will be asked to...

Have an MRI scan that can last up to 1 hour

Participation will not change your routine health care
If you experience certain changes to your health or must take other medications, you may be told you can no longer participate.
